Angela-Faye de Jong – A Rebel with a Cause

Hi, my name is Angela-Faye de Jong, and I am 36 years old. I am a single mother to a 12-year-old son, and for the past 16 years, I have been battling a range of health challenges, including panic disorder, chronic hyperventilation, sudden deafness, severe tinnitus in my deaf ear, a damaged balance organ, and at times, symptoms of psychosis. These conditions have shaped my life in countless ways and have exposed me to the deep flaws within the healthcare system.

On January 2nd, I embarked on a journey to share my truth. For years, I accepted, nodded, listened, and waited—always hoping for change. But the frustration and anger that have built up over these years have brought me no peace. I can no longer stay silent.

I am here to break free by speaking out about the negligence and misconduct I have witnessed. The healthcare system is failing those who need it most, and I refuse to let my experiences be ignored. This is my rebellion, my truth, and my fight for accountability.
